About Southern Skates
our history
Southern Skates, in its current form, was opened in 2008 as part of an initiative by the City of Dallas to improve the options available in the metroplex for family entertainment. As part of the city's efforts, our building underwent a major overhaul, leaving Southern Skates with some of the finest equipment and facilities in the metroplex, including a top quality rink and state of the art music equipment. We plan to continue the efforts and build a strong and lasting relationship with the Dallas community.
our mission
At Southern Skates, we're all about providing a fun and relaxing time for all ages at a price anyone can afford. Not only does this boost relationships in the community, but it gives our youth something fun and productive to do and keeps them out of trouble. That's why we've worked so hard to ensure that our facilities are clean, safe, and top of the line. That's also why we've set up special skate sessions for different age groups, musical tastes, and event types, along with our all-inclusive Free Skate. So whether you're celebrating a birthday, graduation, company outing, or you and your friends just want to get out of the house and have a good time, Southern Skates has something for everyone.
