Discover
The first step in the El Creative process is to take the time to discover what your business and its core objectives are. We make a concentrated effort to learn exactly how your company operates, evaluate your current materials to develop a sense of the history of your business and build on what is already working, while strengthening the aspects of your business with potential. As important as it is to understand what makes you tick, it is equally important to research the competition and develop a strategy that stands out among your competitors. We must understand what you are up against to maximize your success.
Devise
The next step is to develop a strategy that will resonate with your consumer. It becomes an objective framework for decisions, enabling the client to base direction and choices on the stated goals rather than just personal preference. Taking all the information learned in the discovery phase and developing a clear concise strategy to work from will eventually take the form of a creative brief, brand brief, marketing plan or all of the above.
Design
In this phase we began exploring how best to speak the language of your consumer, and the strategy developed takes its sensory form. Our design team has fun, with an “anything is possible, all ideas are good” attitude. Each concept represents a unique direction, some of which are closely related to initial discussions, and some of which may stray considerably. All ideas are rough in the Concept stage so time is spent focusing on creative depth rather than the details or variations of one solution. Once the client chooses a concept direction, we move into refinements. The goal is to develop variations within the initial concept theme, moving past the original idea and into more sophisticated alternatives. A visual language is explored to provide consistency and functionality throughout all the components of the project.
Develop
This is the final phase in the El Creative process. Now is the time to bring the work to life. It is important to be well-versed in the processes and materials involved in production. We are able to source appropriate vendors and then work with both the vendors and our clients for a smooth process that produces the best possible end-result.
